From Nanaimo.
Nanaimo to Parksville (35 Km): From Nanaimo take the Island highway northbound approx 35 Km from the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal. Look for the turn to Port Alberni and Tofino (highway 4)
Turning West Highway 4 to Port Alberni ( Exit #60 -138 Km)
(the other option is to stop by the tourist town of Coombes with the famous “goats on the roof” this exit is about 5 Km earlier =exit #51 Highway 4a)
Crossing the island, past Port Alberni, Sproat lake, then over the Mountains, and past Kennedy lake, you will come to a “T junction” with a large “Tourist Information Centre”.
Turn right for Tofino (Ucluelet to the left)
After the Junction, North towards Tofino (26 Km)
Heading North towards Tofino you will pass the National park, various markers, including Long Beach, Tofino Airport, Golf course, and then another several KM you will see a brand New “Welcome to Tofino” sign with a smaller tourist “information center” which is on the right.
Shortly after that (1 km) you will Turn right onto “Jensen’s Bay Road”. It is just the short entry road, Turn right at the stop sign which is the “real” Jensens Bay Rd, and follow it all the way around to the end. You will pass a few houses, ours is the reddish house just at the end on the right, with wraparound sundeck. House # 1027
